JOHN
Singer & Guitarist John originally moved to Los Angeles, from Chicago, with a signed rock band, for which he was the lead singer. After the Kara Magiuire band folded, John started learning blues guitar and working on singing blues. The result is the present CD - The Blues Returns.

JERRY
Guitarist Jerry Rosen started out playing blues in the South Central Los Angeles blues scene, where he met musicians who had, at one time, played with many of the West Coast greats. In 1999 Jerry and Henry Harris (Southside Slim) formed Southside Records as a way of giving back to the South Central community. They released CDs featuring, Southside Slim, Smokey Wilson, Hollis Gilmore, Eddie Clark, Curtis Tillman, Deacon Jones, Mary Dukes (who Jerry played with for 4 years) and many more.

GREG
Bassist Greg Imhoff started his musical life out as a bassist in heavy metal bands, but started jamming the blues with John and Jerry about three years ago and now considers himself to be a blues bassist.

SAM
Drummer Sam McAdam considers himself to be a “second generation blues fanatic,” due to the fact that his dad is also a blues drummer. He was raised on a steady diet of downhome blues including Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf. He also delves into punk (he fronted the punk rock band Fun Games) and jazz.
